The product is made of fiberglass mat combined with Aluminum layer and breathable film. The insulation panel coupled with LAMEX R can be considered as 2 products in 1: it permits an easier, faster and safer application on the roof; the waterproof and the air tightness are guaranteed only with a further complete sealing with the suitable tape along the edges. In this way local condensations and leakages are preserved, avoiding, mould and possible deterioration of thermal insulating performances. Furthermore, thanks to the aluminum surface it has a reflectance capacity.
It is suitable as the upper face of insulating panels for ventilated and micro-ventilated pitched roofs (mainly wooden). It is highly recommended for its specific properties: a strong water impermeability (W1 Class according to EN 13859-1) is provided together with high vapor permeability (Sd = 0,05 m); they prevent condensations and moisture and possible freezing in the panel itself.
