Flexible support for PIR/PUR rigid boards, fire barrier
This is the standard version of the wide INTX range; it is available with a weight of ca 300 g/m². The fiberglass carrier is coated with a special mineral finishing bonded with particular blends of polymers and additives. This mineral coated face is also used as lower facer in the insulation board combined with ASCO facers.
INTX 3 is the ideal upper facer of insulation boards dedicated for pitched, wooden, and flat roofs; in this last case, the insulation panels should be installed under a PVC synthetic layer or a bituminous layer, if they are applied through cold liquid glue. That boards could be installed also in floors or cavity walls application.
