UNICO
Bituminous flexible support for PIR/PUR rigid panels
It meets the new requirements of greater environmental sustainability, formulated with a high percentage of raw materials from renewable sources (up to 70%). BIO 7 has included weather performances and flame-retardant behaviors.
It is the ideal upper facer in cold adhesive applications, in build up roofs, in cavity walls, in E.T.I.C.S. and in flooring insulation as well. This mineral coated face is also used as lower facer in the insulation board combined with ASCO facers. This stronger setting increases the adhesion of the facer to the foam stabilizing the following requirements as well: - the panel improves its dimensional stability and flatness - the panel is more resistant when handled at the building site and the walkability value. - the panel is more resistant at fire exposure - the face is more resistant against peeling off edges - the face is aesthetically better
